The Equinix Distributed AI Hub, announced earlier this year, is a key component to facilitate AI workload connectivity. Built on its new Equinix Fabric Intelligence platform, the hub is vendor-neutral, letting enterprises discover, connect to, and consume AI infrastructure (model providers, GPU clouds, data platforms, network/security services) via private, low-latency connectivity across Equinix's 280 data centers. This is achieved without a costly implementation of new IT architecture, and data migration.

The Equinix platform integrates with Palo Alto Networks, pairing Equinix's distributed AI infrastructure with Prisma AIRS for real-time security on agent/model interactions with external tools and data.
